With Just a Little Effort


The Activated program has stretched my faith in seeming impossibility. When I heard about the A.I.P and the getting out activated, I was shocked! I had never got out a subscription before, much less given a class on it. I thought to my self “Oh God! It’s never going to work I’ll never make the minimum required”, but the lord said “Ah! But you can and will, you’ll see.” “But lord?” I asked “you know me, am not all that wound up in the activated program and…and.” “Silence boy!” exclaimed JC “I don’t want to hear of what you can’t do.” Forward the lord “I want to hear of what you can do, you know nothing is impossible.”
“Huh right, so where do I start”
“By telling me what you’re capable of doing so you can get out activated”
“Ok well ‘I can do all things in Christ’ so ya I can do that.”
“Well what I meant is what effort you can do to accomplish your goal.”
“Oh I see, I do my part and you’ll do yours.”
“Exactly!”
“Even if it’s small?”
“Even if it’s small” he answered
“Ok I’ll see to it then”
“All right then, but don’t forget to ask me everything.”
“Will do, and thanks”
So I went on to see what my effort was going to be. I got together with my Bro and stared praying up ideas to sell subscriptions. Well in God’s great divinity and mercy he got something through are thick skulls.
“Write your relatives in one message, and ask them if they would like to help you in your contest.”
Hey yeah that might work, write my relatives cool. So just that, sounds like just a little effort, to write one letter, well ok.
So my bro and I went ahead and wrote them a nice little two paragraph message explaining all that was meant to be explained about the contest and if they would like to get a subscription etc. Well two day’s later one of my aunties wrote back saying she wanted to get 4 subscriptions. I was like WOW! Uh sure…thanks!
Next I got the faith to call my grandparents and try to get them Activated. My grandmother immediately wanted a subscription and grandfather got one a little later.
Well for many of you pros that can do what I did in like a day or two, this may seem like elementary. But I learned that with just a little effort, just one little obedience you’re opening one big door to God’s will.
